FORMER Nigeria international, Victor Moses has suffered muscle fatigue in the left thigh, his Serie A club, Inter Milan have announced.
Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports that the 29-year-old, who played 69 minutes in the 6-0 win against Brescia on Wednesday, was one of Inter’s best performers in the match with him providing an assist and winning the penalty which was scored by Alexis Sanchez.
However, the Nerazzurri confirmed on Friday that he is struggling with the problem after the Rondinelle match.
“Victor Moses was examined this morning at the Humanitas Research Hospital in Rozzano. Tests showed he is suffering from some muscle fatigue in his left thigh flexors,” Inter wrote in a statement via the club’s official Twitter handle.
The extent of his injury is still unknown but will most likely sit out against Bologna on Sunday.
The Nigerian, who joined on loan from Chelsea, has played seven games in Serie A since his arrival in January and has contributed three assists in the process.
He has also appeared three times in the Coppa Italia and two times in the Europa League so far and will remain at the club until the end of the season.
