Lille General Director, Marc Ingla has confirmed the departure of Nigeria international Victor Osimhen from the French Ligue 1 side, Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports.
The Super Eagles forward in on the verge of joining Napoli for next season after the recent talks- a fact confirmed by Ingla during the recent press conference to introduce new addition Isaac Lihadji.
“We are down to the final details of Osimhen's transfer. There were other clubs but the player has made his choice. It's a shame to sell him but he'll leave,” Ingla said.
Osimhen’s deal to Gattuso’s side is expected to be closed on the basis of € 60 million including bonuses.
Napoli's sporting director Giuntoli continued to negotiate with the striker's new agents this week regarding the details of the wages (around € 5 million before taxes) and commissions.
The medical is expected to be scheduled soon.
