“KWARA United winning a silverware at the end of the 2018/19 season, is a top priority for me and my assistants”, says Coach Abubakar Bala.
Bala made this assertion after the Harmony Warriors recorded their second victory in the Gold Cup Tourney on Saturday as they defeated Phoenix ACF of Ado Ekiti 2-0.
In a post-match chat with Gold Cup Media, "It was a different approach against Phoenix ACF, as we are using this important competition to prepare the team, technically, physically, psychologically and also having an eye to win it.
"We will approach the game against Remo Stars with another set of players and with style that will suits our game against them.
"Kwara Utd have no excuses this season, we must work very hard to achieve success at the end of the season.
"We're hopeful that the team will kick start the new season on a positive note, as my assistants and I took time to recruit and prepare the team, unlike last season were we met a team that was set up by another coach.
"No excuses this time as we will work towards wining silverware and play good passing football that our fans want."
