LOBI Stars Football Club of Makurdi is now to unveil new
logo and jersey on the 6th of May, 2016.
Vice Chairman of the club, Mike Idoko reveal the new date
in a chat with sports journalist in Makurdi.
Idoko said the new logo and jersey are part of the effort
by the new management to reposition the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side and generate revenue
rather than depending on government.
He said Governor Samuel Ortom will grace the occasion
with former Minister of Justice Chief Mike Aondokaa as the chairman.
According to Idoko, the deputy governor of the club who
double as the chairman and many other Nigerians will be decorated with branded
the club jersey.
On the performance of the club in the premier league so
far , the former Warri Wolves and Sunshine Stars manager said he is still
building a team and pleaded for more time.
