SUPER Eagles and Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen has been named in the Serie A Team of The Week for Matchday 35 by whoscored.com, one of the largest detailed football statistics website which covers Europe's top leagues, Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports.
The Nigeria international gave a man-of-the-match performance when he scored a brace and grabbed an assist to lead Napoli to a 4-1 victory over Spezia at the Stadio Alberto Picco.
Osimhen, who has now scored ten goals for The Parthenopeans this season, despite battling injury and Covid-19, got 9.0 rating by the website.
Whoscored.com’s Serie A Best XI saw Osimhen partners Roma forward Borja Mayoral who got 9.4 rating in the attack in a 4-4-2 formation.
Also named in the team of the week list is another Nigerian by blood, Chelsea-owned Fikayo Tomori, who is on loan at AC Milan.
Tomori scored his first Serie A and third goal for the Rossonnerri in their spanking of now dethroned Serie A champions, Juventus in Turin.
