Nantes 2-2 Saint-Etienne: Moses Simon opens goal account

SUPER Eagles winger Moses Simon scored his first goal in the 2020/2021 Lique 1 season for Nantes as he helped the team secured a 2-2 draw against Saint-Etienne at the at Stade de la Beaujoire on Sunday.

Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports that the visitors opened the scoring as early as the second minute of the encounter through Adil Aouchiche, while Yvann Macon doubled the 66th minute.


The Nigerian however reduced the deficit for the Canaries in the 71st minute before Renaud Emond scored the all-important equalizing goal with five minutes left to play. 


Simonwho recently sealed a permanent deal with the French side until June 2024 from Spanish side Levante, scored nine goals and provided another eight assists in 30 appearances across all competitions for the Yellow Canaries last season.
