Ikemidcell P.bll Launching: Nigeria, Germany to clash in friendly

By Akeem Lawal
TEAM Nigeria will take on German team in an international friendly match during the official launching of newly introduced Ikmidcell P.bll Sport in Ikorodu Town on Friday 17th of August, 2018.

Ikmidcell P.bll Sport which made it’s debut in the country with an exhibition match at the Police College in Ikeja last weekend, includes Indoor play and Pitch Play, which involves a combination of sports such as wrestling, judo, handball and huddles, where two teams made up of six players and two reserves try to outscore each other by shooting with a ball. A round object, mostly tyre, hanged at a corner, is used as a goal post.

In a chat with Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com during the exhibition game, CEO Ikemidcell Sport and Fitness and the creator of Ikemidcell P.bll Sport, Jomoh Ikem Igbinosu, express optimism that the sport will be embraced by all and sundry because of its simplicity.

“I wrote this game and I have the trade mark in Germany and we are about to start it up right there in Germany. This is the first time this game is being played in Nigeria and this exhibition game is the Pitch edition.

“We will be having a game proper during the launching of the Sport in Ikorodu where our players will be engaging players from Germany in a friendly game on Friday. This is one of the avenues to enlighten people about the sports.

“As a matter of fact the value of this sport is enormous. This is a game that can compete with all sports in the world and I am proud to say it’s a Nigerian game founded by a Nigerian. We hope business men and women, corporate organizations in Nigeria join us to work out this game because  we are trying to create jobs and I believe this is a game we can sell all over the world,” Igbinosu told Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com.
