set for trophy parade

NIGERIA Professional Football League (NPFL) champions,
Plateau United will be hosted by the Plateau State governor, Simon Lalong on
Thursday at the government House, Rayfield in Jos by 6pm, Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com
has been informed.
The Coach Kennedy Boboye-tutored side secured their first
NPFL title ahead of closest challengers MFM FC and Enyimba for their success in
the 2016/2017 season.
In a chat with Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com on Wednesday,
the club’s media officer, Albert Dakup said the state governor is expected to
announce financial rewards for both the players and officials for doing the
state proud.
“The Governor of the state will be hosting us tomorrow by
6pm at the Government House and it is expected that His Excellency will
announce rewards for the team.
“Also tomorrow, there will be trophy parade of the major
cities in Jos. The players, coaches and management will be on the trophy parade
to showcase the trophy to the people of the state,” Dakup told Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com..
