TOP prize winner at the GOtv Boxing Night 13, Rilwan
‘Real One’ Oladosu has revealed to Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com that his major target
now is to go for the vacant National Lightweight title.
Oladosu, who was named the Best Boxer of the night, defeated hard fighting Kehinde “Ijoba” Bhadmus by
unanimous decision in the eight-round National Lightweight Challenge to claim
the N2.5m prize attached to the Mojisola Ogunsanya Memorial Trophy at the event held at the Landmark Event Center, Victoria
Island, Lagos on Tuesday night.
In a chat with Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com after the fight,
Oladosu said he is ready to challenge for the National Lightweight title vacated
by Oto “Joe Boy” Joseph who also defeated Abdulrahim Ahmed of Egypt on the same
night, to win the African Boxing Union (ABU) Lightweight crown.
“It was not an easy fight, but I thank God for the
victory. I really prepared well because I knew Ijoba (Bhadmus) will be a very
difficult opposition and he proved that. What remains for me now is the
national title. I believe I am ready to challenge for the national title now
and I hope that can happen next year,” Oladosu told Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com.
Oladosu said he will consult him family member and then
take his time before deciding how he will spend the N2.5m.
“I’m really happy to have won this prize money but I won’t
tell you how I will spend it right now. I will have to consult with members of
my family and also take my time on how to judiciously utilize this money,”
Oladosu told Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com.
