Dogo: Nasarawa not scared of Sunshine's 'killer form'

 By Akeem Lawal
NASARAWA United coach, Kabiru Suleiman Dogo says his side can contain the attacking firepower of Sunshine Stars when both sides clash in the Nigeria Professional Football League match day 29 encounter at the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State on Sunday, Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports.

The Solid Miners lost 2-0 to Abia Warriors in matchday 28 encounter, but Dogo is optimistic that his side can pull a surprise against the Owena Waves that recorded their first away victory by defeating ABS FC 4-2 at the Kwara State Stadium in Ilorin.

"We are all aware that Sunshine Stars are in killer form right now judging by their recent results especially their big away win at ABS. We are not worried about that, we are ready to take our chances and give our best in Ijebu-Ode. This is not Akure Stadium, it's like both teams playing on a neutral ground even though it is their home for now.

"We have worked on the lapses noticed during our loss to Abia Warriors even though the pitch was not that football friendly. But playing on a pitch like Dipo Dina Stadium will allow free flow of football and fans will enjoy the best," Dogo told Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com.

Nasarawa United now sit ninth in the NPFL standings with 38 points, while Sunshine Stars are placed 16th on the log with 36 points.
