TWO goalkeepers were the star attraction as they Inspired their teams to win their matches on day 4 of the Prudent Energy Handball Premier League 2021.
In the Women Category, goalkeeper Kehinde Babatunde made several back to back breathtaking saves including 7 metre shots which motivated her team Seasider Babes of Lagos to defeat former champion Safety Babes 18-15.
In other matches in the women category, defending champion Adorable Angels struggled but eventually defeated an enterprising Confluence Queens led by their exciting Pivot Aruwa Inikpi 37-30 while Defender Babes defeated Kada Queens 30-23.
In the Men Category, Kano Pillars inspired by their goalkeeper Sanni Bature defeated Lagos Seasider Boys 23-20.
Bature playing against his former club, made several breathtaking saves denying his team mates especially Ibitoye Martin's from scoring from fast breaks.
In the other match in the men Category, De Defenders had to dig deep to defeat Rima Strikers 22-21.
