FORMER champion, Niger United now lead the men category league table after earning a vital victory on MatchDay 7 of the Prudent Energy Handball Premier League 2021.
The 2018 champion earned a comfortable 31-13 victory over Kada Stars to cement their lead on the league table.
Other matches in the men category saw Confluence Stars inflicting a 28-19 defeat on Police Machine and Kano Pillars edging past stubborn Tojemarine Academy with a 23-17 victory.
In the women category, Safety Babes gained more form as they defeated rival Imo Grasshoppers 26-22 while Bayelsa Queens are in a precarious position as they lost against Defender Babes 28-24 which places them at the bottom of the women category log.
Confluence Queens defeated Seasider Babes of Lagos 21-17.
