FOLLOWING his superb performance in Bursaspor’s 3-1 win over Osmanlispor in the Turkish Super Lig on Monday night, Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong has received commendations from fans of the club, Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports.
The 26 year old who formed a formidable partnership with
Mainz defender, Leon Balogun in the heart of Super Eagles defense that ensured
Nigeria secured a 2018 FIFA World Cup ticket following a 1-0 victory over
Zambia last week, was in action again for 90 minutes in his seventh league
appearance of the season against Osmanlispor that had two Nigerian
internationals Raheem Lawal and Aminu Umar on parade.
Ekong then took to Twitter to thank the fans for their
support
“Good to get a win again at home tonight. Great fight from
the boys and great support as always #Texas #Adamsin 🐊🤙🏽,” he
tweeted after the game.
A fan of the club, Maryo Balotelli tweeted in response by hailing the defense marshal as the club’s new commander of the defence, while advising him to keep working as the fans are behind him.

uploading a picture of Ekong depicting actor,
Russel Crowe of the famous
