KWARA United head coach, Abubakar Bala has admitted that the team will miss the services of their top striker, Segun Alebiosu when they take on Sunshine Stars in the Nigeria Professional Football League matchday 13 encounter today at the Ondo State Sports Complex.
Alebiosu, who is recuperating from the injury he sustained from motorcycle accident last weekend, has been ruled out of some matches.
The Harmony Boys goal merchant suffered an ankle injury on his way home from training after his motorcycle was hit by a careless motorcyclist who was driving against traffic.
In a chat with Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com, Bala said the team is focused on getting a win in Akure as there are capable players in his team who can fill the vacuum left by Alebiosu.
“There is no doubt that we will miss the services of Alebiosu against Sunshine Stars based on his contribution to the team since the beginning of the season. We won’t let that affect our game plan for the match because there are capable players in the team that can do the job for us.
“Our match agains Sunshine Stars won’t be an easy one. Remember they came to Ilorin and got away with a draw. Now it’s payback time but we want to go a step ahead by grabbing the maximum points in Akure,” Bala told Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com.
