NIGERIA international, Victor Moses' strike in a 3-0
victory over Leicester City has been listed for Chelsea's Goal of the Month
award for October.
Diego Costa and Eden Hazard had given Chelsea a 2-0 first
half lead at Stamford Bridge before Moses who had been impressive all through
the encounter registered his name on the scorers’ sheet when he exchanged
passes with Nathaniel Chalobah and promptly side-footed past the Leicester
goalkeeper for Chelsea’s third to round off the comprehensive win for Coach
Antonio Conte’s side.
The goal which sealed Chelsea's victory over the reigning
EPL champions is now in the run for the Blues' Goal of the Month award for
October.
Other contenders for the award includes Diego Costa, who
receives double nomination for his goals against Hull City and Southampton.
Willian goal against Hull City and N'Golo Kante strike
against Man United also made the list.
According to information from Chelsea, fans can register
their votes on the club's website and stand a chance of winning a signed shirt.
"The October Goal of the Month competition is now
open and supporters can win a signed shirt from the player of your choice by
choosing your favourite strike.
"It's a tough choice this month, with five absolute
crackers to choose from, and the goal with the highest number of votes from
supporters will come out on top.
"The prize winner will be notified at the middle of
the month."
