NIGERIAN boxer, Oluwafemi Oyeleye has signed a promotional
contract with Mayweather Promotions, the company has announced.
Mayweather Promotions, LLC is a boxing promotional firm
founded by five-division world and eleven-time world champion Floyd Mayweather
Jr. in 2007.
Oyeleye, who won gold in the 69kg welterweight category
at the 2015 All Africa Games has been training in United States for the past
two months.
According to information made available the management of
Mayweather Promotions, Oyeleye who has officially inked a deal to be a member
of The Money Team, will make his professional debut at Sam's Town Hotel &
Gambling Hall in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 2.
“Hailing from Lagos, Nigeria, OluwafemiOyeleye @nisty01
will make his pro debut as part of the Mayweather Promotions team on 12/2 at
@samstownlv. Make sure you follow him, as he will bring some great action to
the sport of boxing!,” the promotional outfit said on their Instagram account @Mayweatherpromotions.
The 22 year old boxer is however looking forward to his
first fight on big stage.
“I'm happy to announce to the world and my friends who
have been asking me who I signed with that I signed with Mayweather promotions.
