NIGERIAN duo of Victor Moses and Victor Anichebe have
been nominated for the Premier League PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for
November.
The six-man shortlist announced by Skysports.com on Tuesday also includes in-form Manchester City
striker Sergio Aguero, Swansea star Gylfi Sigurdsson, West Brom winger Matt
Phillips and Watford's Nordin Amrabat.
The shortlist was chosen by Sky Sports expert panel, which included pundits Paul Merson, Peter
Beagrie, Mike Riley, general manager of the Professional Game Match Officials,
and Malcolm Clarke, chairman of the Football Supporters' Federation.
The winner will be announced at 10am on Wednesday.
Moses has flourished in a new wing-back role in Chelsea’s
successful 3-4-3 formation which has seen the Blues climb to the top of the
Premier League.
The 25 year old won the back-to-back man of the match
awards against Middlesbrough and Tottenham Hotspur, while also scoring in the
2-1 victory over Spurs.
Anichebe on the other hand proved instrumental as he
helped the Sunderland pick up two vital Premier League victories against
relegation rivals Bournemouth and Hull City in November.
The big Nigerian centre-forward, who has finally got
himself to full fitness after his summer move to Wearside on a free transfer
after the window had shut, scored three goals in those two games and also
played 90 minutes in Black Cats’ 2-1 defeat to Liverpool on Saturday.
