AS Nasarawa United Football Club takes on Wikki Tourists FC of Bauchi in the 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League match-day one cracker, the management of the Lafia-based club is appealing to its fans to support the side to victory from wherever they may be.
Club Chairman, Barr. Isaac Danladi, told Nasarawa United Media that fans will not be allowed into the Lafia City Stadium as well as other match venues across the country in compliance with the directive by the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 (PTF); Nigeria Football Federation(NFF), and League Management Company (LMC).
Barr. Danladi, however, called on the teeming supporters of the club never to relent in praying and wishing them well as they kick-off their first game at home against northern neighbours, Wikki Tourists of Bauchi in Lafia.
Danladi who doubles as Chairman of NPFL Club Owners' Association of Nigeria, assured fans and the good people of Nasarawa State that Nasarawa United will make a positive statement in this new league season.
The game between Nasarawa United versus Wikki Tourists comes up by four o'clock today, Sunday, 27th December, 2020.
