FORMER MFM FC striker, Stephen Odey is in cloud nine after scoring his first goal of the season for his Swiss club, FC Zurich in a 2-0 derby victory over Grasshopper at the Letzigrund Stadium on Saturday.

Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports that Adrian Winter opened scoring for the last season’s Swiss Cup winners in the 47th minute before Odey, who was handed his first start of the season, doubled the lead with a well-taken goal in the 62nd minute of the encounter. The Nigerian forward spent the entire 90 minutes on the pitch.

The 20 year old, who described the derby victory as ‘awesome’, said he feels good to open his goal account in front of the club’s amazing fans.
