FORMER MFM FC striker,
Stephen Odey is in cloud nine after scoring his first goal of the season for
his Swiss club, FC Zurich in a 2-0 derby victory over Grasshopper at the
Letzigrund Stadium on Saturday.
Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports that Adrian Winter opened scoring
for the last season’s Swiss Cup winners in the 47th minute before Odey, who was
handed his first start of the season, doubled the lead with a well-taken goal in
the 62nd minute of the encounter. The Nigerian forward spent the entire 90
minutes on the pitch.
The 20 year old, who described
the derby victory as ‘awesome’, said he feels good to open his goal account in
front of the club’s amazing fans.

Odey hit the back twice in
13 games for his club last season following his move MFM.
FC Zurich sit at the top of
the Swiss league with six points having won their opening two games of the
season.
