Musa not only scored a double in a crucial group-stage game but also became the first Nigerian in history to score at two FIFA World Cups.

The Leicester City forward, who was voted Man of the Match in the encounter called on Nigerians not to celebrate too much, but wait until the final against the Argentines.

“For me, I think we have to celebrate a little bit. At the end of our final game against Argentina, if we win, then we will celebrate. Today we feel very happy that we won,” the 25 year old said after being presented with the MOTM award.

The final group match comes up on Tuesday against last edition finalist, Argentina, and a draw should Iceland fail to beat group leader, Croatia, will see Nigeria through to the knockout phase of the competition.

Musa however believes anything can happen in the game but, called on his teammates to stay focused throughout the encounter.

“We have to take it as it comes. Finally today we have the three points, so we have to focus till the end of the 90 minutes in our game against Argentina, we’ll see either a draw or win, nothing is impossible in football, “he said.
