By Akeem Lawal

SUPER Eagles forward, Ahmed Musa will return to Leicester City following the expiration of his loan deal with PFC CSKA Moscow, the Russian side have confirmed.

Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports that the Nigerian international re-joined former club CSKA Moscow on loan from the English Premier League side until the end of the 2017/18 campaign after finding it difficult to hold a regular shirt as he could only found the net five times in 33 appearances in all competitions for the Foxes.

While making the announcement on their official website, CSKA thank the Nigerian for his contribution, while wishing him success with the Super Eagles at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

“Nigerian striker Ahmed Musa leaves the club as the loan agreement between PFC CSKA and Leicester City expired today (Friday).

“Ahmed came back to Moscow in the winter and made 16 appearances for Red-Blues in the Spring. He scored 7 goals and helped to earn the spot in the UEFA Champions League group stage.

“We thank Musa for his contribution and wish success at the 2018 World Cup and in his future career,” the club wrote.
