NIGER Tornadoes Head Coach, Abubakar Bala believes his team
can record victory over Sunshine Stars in the Nigeria Professional Football
League match day 35 encounter billed for Otunba Dina International Stadium, in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State if his players are
able to utilize their chances.
In a telephone chat with Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com, Bala who guided
the Ikoh Allah to a 2-1 victory over El-Kanemi Warriors in the Aiteo Cup Round
of 64 clash at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja on Thursday, said the victory has
lifted the morale of his players.
"The win over El-Kanemi in the Aiteo Cup has boosted the morale of the
boys after losing woefully to Akwa United 3-0 last weekend. The confidence is high now and they are
rearing to go. We will do our best to consolidate on that victory.
"It was not an easy game but the boys reflected on
their last performance and their lapses in Uyo. Even they played very well
against Akwa but they conceded due to defensive error.
"So they improve on that and played very well against
El-kanemi and I believe they will take the same spirit into Sunshine match.
"They created more than 11 chances before converting
the two. I am not afraid of any team, if my boys can utilise any opportunity
that comes their way, we will come out victorious.
"I don't have any injury worry going into Sunday's
game, I have all the players available for selection," Bala told Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com.
