THE League Management Company (LMC) has charged the Plateau United coach, Kennedy Boboye and club captain, Dele Ajiboye for their involvement during the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) matchday 12 encounter against Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba Ibadan.

In a series of tweets by the official Twitter handle of the organizers of the Nigerian top flight league, @LMCNPFL on Thursday, Boboye was charged for breaching the Code Conduct for Managers and Coaches of the NPFL Framework & Rules.

LMC has imposed a 3-game touchline ban on Boboye (2 games being suspended subject on good conduct for the rest of the NPFL season) and he will pay a fine N100,000. Boboye will commence his touchline ban from this Sunday's NPFL Matchday 14 game vs MFM FC at the Agege Stadium in Lagos.

Goalkeeper Ajiboye on the other hand is being charged for displaying behaviour capable of inciting others through his verbal altercation with 3SC supporters during the game. To this end, LMC has imposed a one-game suspension on the goalkeeper for the NPFL Matchday 14 game at MFM FC this Sunday.

According to LMC, Both Boboye and Ajiboye have 48 hours from the date of notification of the sanctions to accept the sanctions imposed on them or elect to appeal the decisions.

Also LMC has imposed a N200,000 fine on the 3SC General Manager, Rasheed Balogun for his failure to show good example by encroaching the technical area (a restricted area) during the NPFL Matchday 12 game between 3SC & Plateau Utd. Balogun was charged for breaching the Code of Conduct for Club Officials of the #NPFL Framework & Rules.

The LMC has also imposed a fine of N200,000 on Kano Pillars Coach, Kadiri Ikhana for breaching NPFL rules after he failed to conduct himself in a professional manner during the Plateau Utd v Kano Pillars NPFL Matchday 13 game by publicly criticising the match officials.
