SUPER Falcons defender, Onome Ebi has undergone a successful surgery on her broken arm suffered during the final of the just concluded 10th Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) in Cameroon.
The FK Minsk of Belarus defender suffered the injury and barely managed to finish the final as the Falcons pipped their central African rivals and neighbours, the Indomitable Lionesses, 1-0 in Yaoundé to claim their eighth African title.
Ebi, who broke the cheering news after the surgery performed at the National Hospital in Abuja on Tuesday via her Instagram page @onosky5, thank Almighty God for the successful operation.
“Thank you Lord God for save surgery, receive all thy glory in Jesus name Amen”, she posted alongside after-operation pictures.
