Nigeria’s Onoriode Ehiwareme knocked out  Ghanaian Kofi Johnson in Round Four of their Heavy Weight bout.

The amateur boxers really proved themselves worthy of moving up the ladder to the professional cadre. Olamide Mustapha won the female fight (Bantam Weight) against Adebayo Damilola, Aliu Ibrahim won the Light Weight fight against Bernard Sunday. The Light Welter Weight bout between Kabiru Salawu and Kazeem Saka ended in favour of Salawu.

“The championship has been great from start to finish. I never knew a lot of people will come out for the event, it is very overwhelming and I’m very happy and I will still do another one very soon.

“We did not start the promotion early but what I have seen so far is very encouraging. From the boxers, the amateur to the professionals, they were all brilliant. I also want to appeal to other boxing promoters to come out and help these boxers because they need to fight regularly,” Adegbuyi told Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com.
