Hensen, Holy Ghost for NNPC/Shell Cup final

HENSEN Demonstration School, Edo State will play against Holy Ghost College, Owerri Imo State in the final of the 19th NNPC/Shell Cup billed for Teslim Balogun Stadium on Tuesday.


In the semi final matches decided at the Teslim Balogun Stadium on Sunday, a brace by Ernest Ojelum and a goal each from Iyobor Arase, Isaac Jutice ensured Hensen Demonstration School defeated Government Secondary School, Lamisula, Borno State 4-0, while Holy Ghost College beat Sambo Secondary School, Gusau 3-1.

Coach of Hensen Demonstration School, Chinedu Uba will be bankimg on the attacking duo of Ojelum and Iyobor who are on five goals each in this campaign.

In a chat with Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com, Uba expressed optimism ahead of the final, saying that he is Lagos for the trophy.

We want to make a statement in this competition so that people can see that Hensen Demonstration School is not only leading in terms of academy, but also involved in sports too. In the third place match, Government Secondary School, Lamisula will take on Sambo Secondary School, Gusau by 9:00 am, while Hensen Demonstration School will face Holy Ghost College by 3:00 pm.
