Tornadoes must be clinical against MFM, says Odeyemi

By Akeem Lawal
NIGER Tornadoes forward, Ebenezer Odeyemi has said that the team will take every opportunity that comes their way when they host Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries (MFM FC) in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) matchday 21 game at the Confluence Stadium in Lokoja on Sunday, sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports.

Three goals in six minutes in the first half were enough to baptise Tornadoes with by MFM on match day one of the NPFL at the Agege Stadium, Lagos and Odeyemi says the coach Abubakar Bala side would not pray for a repeat of such in the reverse fixture.

“We have kept our 1-0 defeat to Kano Pillars in Kano, our attention is to get our acts and secure the three maximum points here at home. MFM are a good side but we have worked hard to get a win.

“Our target is to take the chances we create, we need to return to winning ways as we have fashioned out our plans and strategies, we will give out our best for the match”, the former Wikki Tourists and Elkanemi Warriors player said.

The Minna landlords who are tenants in Lokoja would take advantage of the absence of NPFL leading goal scorer, Stephen Odey and Sikiru Olatunbosun who are on national assignment with the Super Eagles in France.

Last season it was MFM 2-0 Niger Tornadoes and it was 3-1 home in the reverse fixture.
