MOUNTAIN of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) FC striker, Stephen Odey has challenged himself to get his goals tally into double figures this season.
The young striker who scored nine goals last term, opened his goal account this season for the Olukoya Boys in a 3-0 victory over Niger Tornadoes in the Nigeria Professional Football League Week one encounter held at the Agege Township Stadium last weekend.
In a chat with Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com, Odey who was delighted to have gotten a goal on his birthday, also dedicated it to the team's supporters.
"I'm very grateful scoring today for my fans because today is my birthday. So I dedicate the goal to my fans.
"I scored nine goals last season and my expectation this season is double figures and I'm looking forward to achieving that."
Odey said the team have put the victory over Tornadoes behind them and now focused on the NPFL match Day two clash against FC Ifeanyi Ubah in Nnewi on Wednesday.
