Parma 1-2 Inter Milan: Moses relishes comeback win

FORMER Nigeria international, Victor Moses was pleased by the manner of Inter Milan’s comeback victory at Parma in a dramatic Serie A clash at the Stadio Tardini on Sunday, Sportsbiz247.blogspot.com reports.

The 29-year-old, who was thrown into action as a replacement for Antonio Candreva in the 69th minute, capped his wonderful performance with an assist as the Black and Blues bounced back from a goal deficit to silence the Crusaders 2-1.

“What a comeback! Buzzing to get the win last night. Great mentality from the boys”, the former Super Eagles forward said via his Twitter account on Monday. 

With Inter manager Antonio Conte watching on from the stands as he served a touchline ban, Gervinho's 15th-minute goal looked set to be enough for Parma to secure a valuable win in their push for Europe.

Inter however fought back in the closing stages – Stefan de Vrij rather fortunately turning home Lautaro Martinez's header in the 84th minute, before Bastoni headed-in a Victor Moses cross for the winner three minutes later to consolidate Inter's place in third.

Moses, who was featuring in his sixth Italian elite division game of the season, got cautioned by referee Fabio Maresca in the closing stages of the game for time-wasting.

Inter will now take on struggling Brescia on Wednesday, while Parma face Hellas Verona in a game that could prove key to both teams' European hopes.
