By Akeem Lawal
NIGERIAN boxing sensation, Oluwafemi Oyeleye is already looking forward to record his fourth professional win when he takes on Mexico’s Hector Reyes in a middleweight challenge contest at Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall in Las Vegas, United States of America on Saturday.

Oyeleye, with an unbeaten professional record of three wins, with one knockout, will be up against 24 year old Reyes, who is also unbeaten in his six professional fights so far, with four knockouts.

The 2015 All Africa Games gold medalist got his first victory in professional boxing by way of unanimous decision in a 4-round Jr. Middleweight showdown against Brian True on December 2, 2016.

In his second fight as a professional, the 22 year old used his height and reach to out-point Mexico’a Adan Ahumada and also win by unanimous decision after four rounds in a middleweight fight on February 24, 2017.

He then knocked out Uriel Gonzalez at 1:52 of the opening round of their middleweight in July

Oyeleye is under promotional contract with Mayweather Promotions, a boxing promotional firm founded by American millionaire boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.
