Just as we had a photo finish at the NWFL Premiership Super Six in Ijebu Ode some weeks ago, where the league champions and Nigeria's representative to the WAFU B qualifiers for the CAF Women Champions League emerged, a similar situation of yet another photo finish has presented itself at the NWFL Premiership Play-Off in Benin City, as all the four teams in the competition for survival in the league must win their games in today's final matches at the University of Benin Sports complex, Ugbowo, or be condemned to relegation.

THE board of the Nigeria Women Football League headed by Aisha Falode, has slammed a N2.5 million fine on Dreamstar Ladies Football Club of Lagos, the team's coach and founder of the club for abandoning a league game and bringing the credibility of the NWFL Premiership League to public ridicule.
