Prudent Energy Handball Premier League 2021: Police Machine escape relegation, Pillars gun for title

POLICE Machine earned a vital win that all but saved them from relegation on Day 12 of the Prudent Energy Handball Premier League.

Police Machine had to really dig deep to earn an important 25-24 win over Tojemarine Academy of Lagos.

This effectively puts them at 16 points and on 9th position which saves them from relegation.


In other results in the male category, Kano Pillars now top the league table, at least till other contending teams play, as they defeat relegation threatened Plateau Vipers 24-20 while Seasider Boys of Lagos defeated Confluence Stars 34-32.

Kano Pillars has played more Matches than their contending rivals

Defending champion Safety Shooters defeated Rima Strikers 23-19.

In the female category, Imo Grasshoppers comfortably defeated Seasider Babes of Lagos 32-23 while Edo Dynamos and Plateau Peacocks played out a thrilling 24-24 draw.
